Waiting to Die

Murray and Billy are best of friends and neighbors, living in a quiet residential neighborhood in San Diego. They are in their early seventies although it is a constant source of pleasure for Billy that he is two days younger than Murray. Murray is married to the beautiful Margaret while Billy is a single gay man whose lover of many years died of cancer. Billy has never gotten over the loss. Their lives change dramatically when they encounter Axle, the leader of a group of young men who bully Murray and Billy; holding them hostage while demanding a large sum of money for their release. Richard is a Sailor/Captain. His wife, Margaret and he have four grown Children and six wonderful grandchildren. They live on their sailboat in San Diego and have sailed down the Baja Coast and all through the Sea of Cortez and the west coast of Mexico and are planning a sailing trip to Hawaii to visit their son and his family. For now they are enjoying the beautiful cool and sunny days of San Diego as his wife supports his writing habit by selling real estate.
