Unrequited Love!

Nurse Joan Bently was at the turning point in her life, having just broken her engagement to the man she was to marry. Then she received a strange bequest from an elderly patient in her care—a former newspaperman. It was a manuscript, which bared the story of a tender but unrequited love in the dead man's past.

As Joan read it, somehow the old man's past and her own future became mysteriously entwined, and she realized that she had been left a guide to love more precious than an inheritance of jewels or money.
