The President of the United States is involved with running the country and has little time for anything else; however, it has come to his attention that an inordinate amount of killings via the throat slash has taken place. Consequently, he has decided to start asking questions before the press is all over him about it. Little does he know what he's about to get into. There also seems to be an awful lot of racial activity going on in the U. S. The President has his own agenda and doesn't want to get embroiled in other things that will take up too much of his time. He's in his second term and knows it's just a matter of time before he becomes a "lame duck" president with little opportunity to get the promises accomplished that he made during his second term campaign. If he only knew what was ahead of him, he would probably flee the country without a backward glance.
