Vengeance

Jace and Eislie have been working on traveling the filaments whenever possible, but they are still unable to do so safely. When a chance encounter with an Alliance vessel sent to find them gives them information they never expected, their former jailer is still alive. Returning home to share their discovery, Jace and Eislie find themselves in the midst of another unexpected turn of events. Someone has put a price on their heads, adding yet another layer of complexity to their already tumultuous journey. While visiting a station and an impromptu meeting with some freedom fighters goes wrong, Eislie is presumed killed. These two seem to need help to catch a break. When Jace discovers Eislie is alive, he sets out to find her-setting course to the very planet of those hunting them.
