Veil of Doubt (61,650 words) When a Christian minister faces the fact that the message that he preaches to his congregation from the pulpit is vastly different from his personal belief about God - what does he do? Turning away from his ministry he continues his teaching but this time from the front of a university classroom and not from a pulpit. Here his personal theology does not conflict with his job. Love enters the picture and an unknown baby. When circumstance and money set him back in the pulpit the discovery of a love child out of wedlock serves to complicate matters. The man's world is further complicated when the wife of the preacher comes to be with her husband turns out to be a different woman than the one that he thought. What to do? What to do? Where is God in all of this?
