About This Book

Copper Blakely streaked through the five story downtown garage parking lot. Her long caramel colored hair flying behind her. Copper hoped by now she was on the third floor. She had already left her heels on the second floor and her slender scarlet cocktail dress was ripped to let her legs run freely. Hunching behind what looked to be an abandoned SUV, she metered her breath. It was dark, after 2 am, and very few cars were left parked. The attacker already had her purse and she knew it was only a matter of time. Thoughts about how she lived her life passed quickly through her mind. She loved her husband and two kids. Hold on Copper! Maybe they won't find you! But the promising thoughts were short lived."Hello, Copper." An icy voice spoke a few feet behind her. She turned to face her stalker. The black ski mask was gone. Surprise colored her already ruddy red cheeks."It's you....why?" Copper stammered, shocked."I can't let you get away with it."
