I was done with love. My acrimonious break up with my ex-wife, Alexa, had seen to that. Not only had she been the most unfaithful woman a man could have said “I do” to, but she kept insinuating that I had cheated on her. As the son of an earl, I knew I'd have to remarry one day and have a male child to carry on the family name. But next time I won't be caught up with ridiculous feelings. I'll find the perfect English Rose, who expects nothing from me but money and babies. Alexa always said I was uptight, but she was absolutely wrong. I'm fun when I want to be. What I hadn't bargained on was Emily standing behind me in airport security, bitching about me holding up the queue. Or throwing coffee all over me in the shop where she worked. Or ending up in Barcelona, drunk and propositioning me. I certainly didn't expect the best sex of my life with her, or for her not to call afterwards. Six months later, I've found her again.
