After a tragic year for Bess Weaver, a spring breeze promises to carry in more than new flowers ... it promises a new chance at love.

One minute Bess Weaver, twenty and expecting her first child, is in the kitchen making stew for her beloved mann, Caleb. The next she's burying him and facing a life that seems to stretch endlessly before her, bereft of joy. In an effort to escape painful memories, Bess takes a job at an Englisch-owned bed and breakfast where she tends to the flowers.

Aidan tries to repress his guilt over his best friend Caleb's death and his long standing feelings for Bess by working harder than ever. But he can't seem to stay away from the young son his best friend left behind ... or that baby's beautiful mother.

Bess is surprised and wracked with guilt when she begins to have feelings for Aidan. A small, close-knit group of widows in her community step in to help Bess find her way back to the path that was once so clear to her, but she can't help but wonder what God's plan is for her and what the future will bring. Together, these women help Bess discover that hope still exists and life can still hold joy and wonder. And even the possibility of new love and romance.
