Camille and Anny are teenagers and best friends aboard World, a sailing ship of the post-apocalyptic future. World roams the ocean endlessly in an attempt to protect its crew and passengers from the savage dangers on land. When Anny becomes enamored of life on land and decides to leave World, she asks Camille to come with her. Camille’s decision will change both their lives forever.
