Roller-blading duo Ike and Abby return, still divorced and still working together. Ike is the gorgeous producer of "Morning Watch," Abby is the director. And in between their constant verbal sparring they have another mystery to solve.

Abby, invincible on roller blades but mortal on foot, is mugged walking to work by a man who promises a story. Abby suspects his attacker knows something about a crime wave sweeping Manhattan: the Yellow-Man murders. The victims are homeless, their faces are painted yellow, a cryptic message left behind.

But when a "Morning Watch" guest becomes a victim right outside the studio, Ike and Abby are drawn into the murders, trying not to kill each other in the meantime.
