Unexpected Affair

Frances Marriott was thoroughly enjoying her year as a trainee GP in a busy seaside town on the Isle of Wight. The work was varied and interesting, and she got on well with her colleagues, especially with her trainer, Dr Alex Ryan. True, they had their differences, but Frances sensed that Alex was pleased with her progress, while on a more personal level, they were growing closer.

Frances felt that she could cope with Alex's worry about being much older than herself, and with his difficult teenage daughter. But than another problem came out of the blue, one that wasn't so easily dismissed....
