Uneven Foundation // Unexpected Danger

After having just survived an attempt on her life, Jenna is thrust into the protection of Josh, an ex-Navy SEAL with a haunted past. With his help she will need to stay concealed for one week in Colorado while for her boss finds a way to diffuse the dangerous situation in New York.



As the week wears on, Jenna and Josh quickly come to a few realizations. One, their sexual chemistry is as explosive as it is gratifying. Two, they rarely see eye-to-eye on anything. And three, both have a failing of stubbornness with an aversion to compromise. It becomes one of the longest weeks in history.



Unfortunately, the light at the end of the tunnel is fraught with danger. While Jenna and Josh are forced to flee from a second attempt on her life, Jenna is bombarded with Josh's feelings, afraid to fully trust the intense man. Josh, pulled out of the darkness by the beautiful but prickly woman, deeply fears he will repeat past failings, unable to keep her safe in her time of need. While Jenna struggles to break away, Josh tries to hold on, both traversing the troubled plains of love while two gunman prowl their safe haven.
