When Sandy Smith's ginkgo trees wilted for the third time, nursery owner Gabe London just had to investigate. And when he met the lovely manager of the Casa Grande Retirement Center, he guessed who the culprit was: his younger brother Pete, who wouldn't stop mooning over Sandy.

To unravel the mystery for certain, Gabe decided on detective work after dark -- only to be surprised by an elderly lady with a mean left...and then a vision of Sandy in a nightgown he'd never forget!
