Two Worlds

Arrived in 18thC England, Maddy has bluffed her way into the job of croupier in a select gaming house. She needs money to search for the time portal, her only way back to her modern-day life.

Rescued from foot-pads one night by a mysterious masked stranger, she falls in love with a man of many secrets, and with the Regency world itself. When offered the opportunity to return home, Maddy is torn.

But then the two worlds of past and present clash disastrously, threatening Maddy's lover with a terrible fate and damning Maddy to a living death.
