Two Minute Warning

TV director Phil Post couldn't believe his eyes when he caught the shot on camera. There on the roof, above the scoreboard, sitting with his back to the wall, was a man in a long-sleeved shirt. There were papers on the ground in front of him, but at his side, leaning casually, was a rifle. Post hoped no one else had caught that shot. There would be panic, pandemonium. Who was he after? There were three governors, five senators, a dozen congressmen, and three astronauts in the stands. Was on of them the target? A mass murderer? Whoever he was, he had to be stopped. 8 minutes and 52 seconds left in the game. There wasn't much time life. For anybody.
