Two Girls Against the World

Before Bobbie Lamont was the author of two best-selling memoirs (Bobbie Lamont), she was a shy bookworm for most of her life. Her journey in becoming that woman begins in the summer of 1983, in Birmingham, Alabama. Born in to a wealthy family, Bobbie lives in New Orleans, Louisiana with her hard drinking socialite mother, her easy going father, and her sweet younger sister. She attends a Catholic school for girls with her best friend, Billie Carver, and tries to stay unnoticed by Angie Stone and Sarah Connor. Bobbie's life changes less than three weeks from her fifteenth birthday when she is in a car accident. She then spent the next three years trying to come to terms with the aftermath of that event while searching for her place in the world.
