Twisted Trail

Cleef Morgan was a Pinkerton detective at the top of his grim career so it came as no surprise when he was sent after Scrag Hanton, the killer and bank robber. Hanton died resisting arrest and so Morgan had succeeded yet again. Then the call from Turkey Creek came and Morgan was faced with a mystery that had baffled the local lawmen. It was just another job to Morgan, and he set about unravelling the track of deceit. His life lay in the balance, but he would never quit until he had brought justice with gun or hang-rope.
