Promises have a way of coming back to bite you in the ass.

Judy, an up-and-coming romance writer, breaks her leg and needs her twin sister Deirdre to fill in for her at a romance conference. Mindful of her childhood agreement that she'd take Judy's place if she needed her to, Deirdre and her cat Looney reluctantly set off for the conference, planning to sign a few books, shake a few hands and then go back home to Seattle.

She didn't plan on meeting cover model Red Currier and falling head over heels in love. And it doesn't help her happily-ever-after that she's masquerading as her married, three-months-pregnant sister.
