Twice Fallen

After the leaders of Russia are rebuffed in their efforts to become the sole supplier of gas and oil to Europe, a whooping cough epidemic breaks out in the Netherlands. Healthcare workers move to treat the illness with antibiotics, but those treated develop a deadly viral hemorrhagic fever while untreated patients survive. In the U.S., Iranian suicide bombers attack San Francisco and Chicago killing dozens and in an act of apparent retaliation, three of Iran's oil production facilities and their main nuclear processing plant are destroyed by nuclear-tipped cruise missiles. When wing fuel tanks with U.S. markings are found at the Iran-Turkish border, the stage is set for a massive confrontation between the U.S. and Iran. Unrelated as they seem, a common thread weaves through these events, and with the world about to explode, Liam Michaels-artist, photographer, and the immortal Angel of Death-must unravel the puzzle and stop those responsible before the humankind is torn to pieces.
