When Marie Blake catches a glimpse of Leon Navarre buying shrubs at the garden nursery where she works. She is Immediately attracted by his unusual good looks. Further acquaintance increase the attraction and causes a rift in her relationship with Russell Aynsley who had expected to marry her. Her world falls apart when she discovers Leon is about to be married to someone else. Russell is quite ready to assume their relationship, but Marie can't forget the man who has caused so much tumult in her heart, so, to escape both men and give herself breathing space, she goes to Auckland on holiday.
