Meet Lucy Evans, the original tomboy.

Life is pretty good for Lucy. She lives with her best mate, Ollie, in a great flat. She has her dream job reviewing computer games, and just enough cash for a few pints and a takeaway.

But everything's about to go horribly wrong.

It's a leap year and Ollie's girlfriend, Annoying Victoria, proposes. And then she wants Lucy out of the flat. Hard on the heels of this particular bombshell, Lucy gets fired from her job. With no money and nowhere to live, the only place that'll hire her wants a nice English rose as a receptionist. She doesn't have a choice. It's makeover time.

So it's goodbye to beer, rugby and DMs, and hello to white wine spritzers, kitten heels and minding one's manners at all times.

But can Lucy pull it off? Can she save Ollie from his nightmare girlfriend? Can she handle her gorgeous new boss? And will she ever get to be herself again?
