Angela Evans, now twenty four years old, has made a point of staying away from romantic relationships; preferring to bury herself in running her late husband's business empire. That is, until she meets billionaire, Connor Shea. The news starts to fill with stories of a series of local murders as one of Angela's family businesses also seems to suddenly be in jeopardy.
