Trouble in San Juan County

Carlen Ashton leaves Texas to keep from having to kill a bunch of revenge seekers. What he finds in the town of San Juan, on the Colorado and New Mexico Territory border, is that the town councilmen are trying to steal the town and the county. The best thing that he could do was to keep traveling. Knowing that it was not in him to run, he makes friends with a few of the town people and an old rancher. Being shot and shot at he is more than ever determined to bring the four main crooks to justice. A stray rider that works for the old rancher and a few more of the town’s citizens join him in his struggle. It doesn’t help matters when the lawyer’s sister sets her sights on Carlen. A Federal Judge in Durango steps in to give Carlen the type of frontier law that is needed to clean up the town and see that quick justice is given to the outlaw element.
