Usama bin-Laden visited the area with its large Muslim population in 1995 and established a working relationship with Hizbollah, MS-13 and local drug lords. But first she and Julian Taylor are sent to London to meet with MI5 and MI6. Joined by Ambassador at Large John Weldon, who is preparing for a meeting of world leaders to establish the replacement for the U.N. Teresa and Weldon visit the Foreign Secretary, and she and the supercilious old man have a major dust-up. A radical cleric in London sees the forthcoming U.N. replacement conference as an opportunity to kill the president of the Great Satan. After Teresa returns to Albuquerque, President Alexander sends her to Argentina where she will attempt to use her keen wit and unassuming yet alluring personality to convince each tri-border country's president to form an alliance with America. Some are not so easily charmed, and others will make plans to assassinate her. Teresa's two gal pals, the Terrible Two, are not available to accompany her, so she is forced to improvise. Readers of Boyland novels never know what new surprise or plot awaits them on the next page, and this story has plenty of action, betrayal and intrigue.
