Peter's first love had always been the sea, but now it looked as though he would never see it again. Was this the end of his dream or the beginning of a new one?

A DREAM DEFERRED

Ever since Peter could remember he'd wanted to be a sea captain like his father, but now that his father had drowned, he knew that he had no choice. He had to stay on land and take care of his grieving mother. His conscience told him he had to go live with her and their relatives in some boring, godforsaken place, where there were too many trees and no ocean in sight. He felt sad just thinking about it, and when he got there, it wasn't much better. Then one day he became involved in something he'd never expected...and wasn't even sure he wanted.
