Ten-year-old Tox is in trouble with SisR and his crew over his contra-bullying business. His attempts to escape their attentions leave Tox injured and trapped. As the police search for Tox races against time Tox meets the strangely spoken Rah Tuss, who leads him on a wild and dangerous journey through the weirdness of Realland in search of a way home. As they go Tox is pursued by his nemesis, the always-smiling Grayend.
