At first, Diane hates the thought of missing all the hometown fun, but once aboard the beautiful liner that is to take her and her parents to Europe, excitement takes over.

And what a trip! London, Paris, Geneva, Rome, and Italian Riviera! And much of the sightseeing done in the company of one or another of the young men who always turn up with Diane is around.

Even an unexpected meeting in Rome with her poisonous cousin, Holly, can't put a damper on this very special summer.
