Torn Asunder--Part 1

In Torn Asunder Part 1 the President must deal with a dual attack by ISIS on the heartland of the United States as flood waters from the Snake and Missouri/Mississippi Rivers race toward the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, in effect dividing the country into three regions. The Ebola virus spreads within the country. Hard times come to our characters who have reached Valentine, Nebraska. The governors of Texas and Louisiana begin the process of seceding from the United States. Nancy O'Brien leads her group of students and scientists south toward New Mexico while her husband Robert is tasked with an impossible assignment--figure out how to get the U.S. back together again. In Montana Penny Armstrong begins a journey to find the birth records of her 'adopted' Crow Indian children, Jason and Amanda.
