Toledano

It is a considerable shock to Simon Good on his release from prison to find his reception committee includes Mr Justice Meddlisome - the man directly responsible for his temporary removal from society. He learns from the Judge, whose good name is being threatened, that a flabby but enthusiastic master-crook, Mario Toledano, is out to kill him. Good's anxiety to find the motive for this apparently pointless vendetta and his attempt, for once honourable, to destroy the evidence of a youthful indiscretion on the part of the Judge, lead him into a series of extraordinary events...
