Emphasizing unity and collaboration, reflecting the theme of this book while encouraging all children can participate and support one another. This brings children together and encourages kindness and compassion to one another, while learning about each other's unique differences and abilities. Book 2 of the Together Strong series introduces Joe, a young boy with autism, and how his teacher's aide is there for support. The children discovered that during art class and the trip to the zoo demonstrated how students working together, we can help each other succeed. The key is being flexible as we each accept how everyone can have their own unique strengths and challenges and still be part of the whole.
