Timothy and the Man in the Moon

Seven-year-old Timothy Peppin was excited about his upcoming birthday. He'd been waiting for this day it seemed like forever. He was turning eight in a couple of days, and ever since he was five, he had been asking his parents to take him to the Moon. They had repeatedly told him he was too young, but now that he was turning eight, he believed he was old enough to make the trip. He had no knowledge of what was involved, but his parents were able to do 'most anything, so he was counting the minutes until the great day—the day he turned eight—the day he may finally get to go to the Moon.
