Where did the human race originate? That's the burning question for former television news "IT Girl" Temperance "Temps" Breyer, now relegated to shooting a cable television show for underwater archaeologist Scott Harlow. Temps sees a way to break the biggest story in history when Harlow discovers a key to the origins of man. But reviving her news career takes a back seat when powerful forces learn of the discovery and seek to control it.
