Time of Darkness

The Sun has disappeared from the sky and darkness arrives which changes young Rebecca Hollingsworth’s family life forever. With determination the family hold up in their home in Farmville, Virginia and only venture out to look for food. When her father dies after battling the aliens, that now inhabit the Earth, Rebecca and her mother are left to venture into town on their own for food. When they encounter aliens and her mother dies, Rebecca is left alone to fend for herself at 14 years of age. The battle to keep alive is complicated by the freezing temperature, lack of food and constant battles with the aliens.
