One step at a time…

Dr. Kate Ross was making a determined effort to pick up the pieces of her life, and the first step was the locum job in Dr. Ben Buchan's practice. Ben doubted her ability to cope, but was willing to give her a chance, which Kate too with both hands.

Proving her worth, Kate found herself deeply attracted to Ben, but, convinced he was still grieving for his wife, she was reluctant to show her feelings for him -- though Ben's delightful teenage twin sons were another matter! For Kate, time was running out -- there'd have to be a decision soon!
