Rebecca Roberts hasn't been the same since her high school sweetheart and musical soul mate, Jason Engles, walked out of her life to follow the bright lights of Nashville. She's tried to move on - half-heartedly experiecing the dating scene and doing her best to live a life free of her mother's shadow - but it isn't until Jason returns to perform at a benefit concert and she's pulled up onto the brightly lit stage and into his arms that she truly comes alive again. It should be a simple matter of happily ever after, but life has a few surprises for Rebecca and nothing is as easy as it seems. Falling back on the support of loved ones, her own blossoming songwriting career and some good ol' Texas grit, Rebecca and Jason do their best to suvive the stormy tides that threaten to destroy their perfect dream.
