Tides of Evolution

An oil rig accident triggers a rapidly progressing mutation in tiger sharks giving them an affinity for crude oil. Known as anomaly sharks by the growth on their side, each new generation is more intelligent, matures faster and breeds more prolifically. But radical behavior changes making them more deadly are only the beginning. A voracious horde of sharks is sweeping the beaches and threatening shipping in the Caribbean on their way to the Gulf of Mexico and the shores of the United States. On Isla Tiburon, where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic, Dr. Max DeBarker enlists the help of a shark attack victim and three fishermen to help him unravel their secrets and destroy the killer sharks. A twist of fate reveals the crude oil he studies for cancer research spawned the anomaly sharks and his father's death was the beginning of it. Max takes on the sharks to save cruise ship passengers from a swimming nightmare that must be stopped.
