The last thing race-horse trainer Chad Barron needed was a pair of golden eyes watching his every move. Granted, he'd convinced Emily Holt not to sell her share of the horse she'd inherited from her estranged father, but the pretty accountant was telling him how to do his job! The only figure Emily should worry about was her own -- it was driving him crazy!

The tall, dark and tight-lipped trainer wasn't going to shoo Emily away. Somehow, she'd come to care for Thunderbolt...and Chad...but the stubborn man wouldn't let their attraction leave the starting gate. Still, Emily was betting on Chad...and that they'd cross the finish line to love together!
