Sydney Davis fell madly in love with Geoffrey Brompton the moment she met him. Thankfully, the feeling was mutual, or so she thought, until she caught him in bed with another woman when they were planning their wedding.

Now, years later, she's come to England to help Geoffrey's sister, her best friend Suzanne, who is under suspicion in Geoffrey's disappearance. Sydney is sure he's found himself a new bedmate and is hiding from the world, but Suzanne has other ideas.

She thinks Geoffrey has gone back in time to right an old wrong and save the family name. And Suzanne thinks there is only one person who can help Geoffrey, and that's Sydney.
