Through These Doors

Emmy Harris, news correspondent, and mother of college age twins, flees Atlanta on her doctor's advice in order to recover from a traumatic event. She rents the guesthouse of Parker Steelman (Steel) a rancher who lives near Santa Fe, New Mexico but later regrets her decision after being subjected to his anger, insensitivity and cruel remarks. He discovers in time Emmy has kept a secret from him but also knows he has kept a secret from her. Emmy eventually leaves the, 'God forsaken land,' after confronting spiders, a rattler and a cougar. After a surprise visit to Emmy and her children on Christmas Day,Steel discovers a business man has an interest in Emmy and he leaves brokenhearted vowing to forget her. During a winter snowstorm he makes a major decision but will it be to find the woman he cannot live without or turn his back on Emmy for the pain and embarrassment she caused him?
