Three Brothers in Arms

Cyrus, Will and Charlie, three brothers, ride off during the American Civil War: All three serve the Union at Fort Henry and Fort Donelson and come through unscathed. At the Battle of Shiloh, Cyrus serves at Will's side when Will is shot in the head. Cyrus fails to carry him off the field. When the Union recaptures the ground, Cyrus returns and finds Will still alive. When Will dies a few days later, the two remaining brothers manage to continue their fight to save the Union. When Cyrus is reported missing in battle, the news overwhelms Charlie. The struggle pits loyalty to family against the desire to serve his country.
