About This Book

“Thoughts Left Unsaid” is a mainstream story about two middle-aged men, David and Phil, friends since college, who have recently had rough patches in their marriages, including an affair. Though they’ve never been the type to discuss intimate personal problems, David feels the need to unburden himself to Phil. As they play pool and have a few beers, David recounts recent events in his life while wondering how much, if anything, he should tell his friend.

“Jesse's Girl” is a mainstream story about Jesse, a college student who spends far more time fantasizing about girls than interacting with them in real life. When a girl in his chemistry class catches his imagination, he’s determined to do something about it. In between his schoolwork, hanging out with dorm buddies, and working a somewhat seedy part-time job, he musters up the courage to talk to her. But his newfound infatuation has a secret he hadn't counted on.
