This Time, for Always

Valentine's Day is approaching, and Petra Foster is feeling anything but romantic. Her advertising campaign for Salton's "one-stop shopping" has been nixed at the last moment by the client's wife, her secretary just quit, and her co-worker Carter Ridley has decided he loves her.

Since Carter seems to fall in love once a week, Petra is not too worried about him. Joe Costello, however, does worry her. Angela Salton has decreed that he is the only artist fit to handle the Salton account. Petra would sooner die than face her first love again, but she can't afford to lose Salton's business, so Joe is it. Now a widower with a young child, Joe obviously has had no trouble forgetting Petra, so Petra vows to act just as cool where he is concerned. But the radio keeps playing "their" song, and the more time she and Joe spend together, the more she has to wonder: Could first love be better the second time around?
