      About This Book

      This book is the culmination of severe depression, constant romantic failure, and a fear of impending yet unspecified change. This collection of short stories and poems were born out of the last two years of my near four year stint in Arizona. Most of the settings are far away from Arizona though, sometimes for effect or convenience, but always by deliberate choice. These works were not written with particular people in mind, just feelings. Some draw from my experiences and the experiences of my friends, some are completely fabricated. Because that's what fiction, ambiguous lying.
