About This Book

This is the second book in a series about a Robot, Thinker, where he is found making significant scientific advances in many fields of science, especially physics and medicine. The Robots market their automobiles to the Humans using a Human-looking Robot, Oddjob, and a Human, Joe. Joe is terminally ill with a few days to live when Thinker fabricates a cure primarily using nanotechnology. In the process Oddjob is re-programmed to be the finest physician in the world. Joe is saved and Oddjob decides to remain a Doctor. Thinker detects an intelligent force in space approaching the Earth, apparently from Alpha Centauri, a binary star system which averages about 4.37 light years from our sun. They are still a distance away; but, Thinker suspects there may be an advanced party in proximity of the Earth. Suspecting hostile aliens Thinker develops an arsenal of weapons and defensive devices suspecting that aliens that are capable of traveling that distance would be militarily superior to the Humans. Events that follow prove Thinker's suspicions correct and the outcome is unexpected. Thinker now has the ability to travel across the universe at high speed using worm holes. This allows them to quickly travel to the Alpha Centauri binary star system over 4 light years away.
The Robots increasingly enjoy human activities while Thinker is developing the ability to build cells in which they have married the life code with digital code. They have computers establishing basic gene sequencing. They will soon will be able to build biological robots. The decisions they make in this area will truly affect Mankind.
