This is a series of 12 books that have continually inspired new characters and events.
A World War has ended with World-wide peace after the defeat of the Humans' own Robots which had turned against them. As a result, there is a world-wide ban against Robots. They are to be destroyed if found. We find a lonely inactivated Robot in a deserted building. This is his story. He is able to activate himself and build more Robots. He soon discovers that he is a genius who appears to have an unknown entity, The Makers, behind him. Thinker is able to become incredibly wealthy while secretly helping Mankind. Many inventions ensue including medical advances and space travel powered by gravity. With their medical advances it soon becomes apparent they can become very human. The Robots start pairing off in couples as they acquire Human traits. A natural disaster from space threatens to destroy all life on Earth. Robots becoming Human might be the biggest decision affecting the Robots. This is a series of stories which follow the path the Robots will take and their relationship with the Universe/Universes. Will they discover who The Makers are? The books are a blending of current modern science, history as we know it and science fiction. You modern science buffs will love the stories.
