These Are Not Fairy Tales

This book contains two stories. In "The Elephant with a Bird's Heart," a herd of elephants is looking for an adventure. "Black Cat and White Cat" is about two very different cats. One day the black cat, sees the white cat and becomes curious. From that moment on their lives are changed. Josefa Lema Ferreiro was born in Galicia Spain on February 2, 1966. When she was three years old, she immigrated with her family to the Netherlands. In December 2003, she returned to Spain to live there with her husband and son. This new environment has been an inspiration for her to write stories for children.
