Their Very Own Bike

Their Very Own Bike is based on true events from my childhood. My brothers and I grew up near the small southern town of Sulligent, Al. We spent a lot of time playing and building things. We never had a new bike so we built our own from scrap parts that we found. Of course they never looked good and were not very safe, sometimes we found out just how unsafe they were the hard way. That was the best time of our lives, when we get together now we still talk about all the crazy things we did and how much fun it was to build our own bikes.
