When life ends, the world remains…From a desolate countryside hours away from the city, a group of friends watch the only lives they have ever known end after an unprovoked attack burns their home, Acadia, to the ground. Sterling Blackwell had just gotten used to her new life. When her family sent her to live in the city after spending her entire life in a small town near the war-zone, she had to learn a whole new way of life. Now, that life is gone. Sterling and her friends must return to the ruins of Acadia to search for survivors. Along the way, they are forced to face their darkest fears and the very worst of humanity. If they are going to survive, they will have to be stronger and braver than their enemies.
