The Winds of Chance

The winds of chance blew softly over Combleigh and brought together Gail Anson and the man she had loved three years ago -- she had almost forgotten Tony but her love still lingered in her heart. It was accompanied by the remembrance of pain, for he had rebuffed her youthful love. Tony evidently had no desire to resume their former friendship and with proud defiance Gail followed his lead.
