About This Book

As scientists work to develop nuclear engines capable of propelling spacecraft at near the speed of light for interstellar travel each new engine needs to be tested. This is the job of Jack Wilde a U.S. Navy test pilot who makes his living putting these new craft through the ringer. There was no way of knowing that the next flight would be his last. A routine flight quickly turns into a runaway hell-ride catapulting him through the speed of light and into orbit around an unknown world of savage men, beautiful women and wild blood-thirsty beasts. Relying on survival training and common sense Jack Wilde attempts to carve out his niche in this new world of limited technology where success is determined by the sword and honor is bound by a man’s word. Fighting men and beasts across the breadth of an unknown continent Jack Wilde endeavors to return a rescued princess to her father’s city. Just as unexpected as his careening flight through the speed of light Jack finds his heart being drawn closer and closer to the princess as they travel and in the end will his love be returned or will his heart be torn asunder.
